Noah will be 4 weeks old tomorrow

Time sure flies, although some nights have proven to be quite long for Paul, when Noah did not feel like letting his dad have some shuteyes.

We have noticed some remarkable changes in Noah. He can now hold his head up for short periods of time. He also has been feeding very frequently this week, and we were told that growth spurts is expected around 3 weeks.

He started to become aware of the television, when Paul was watching the Canucks season opening game against the San Jose Sharks last friday. Paul put Noah in the vibrating chair, with his back against the T.V. We were shocked (and to Paul's dismay) to find Noah twisting his head around to catch glimpses of the hockey game. Since Paul was torn between letting his son develop fondness for hockey vs. exposing him to television at such a young age, he ended up letting Noah watch the hockey game but shielded Noah's eyes during commercials with his hand. Noah would try to see through the cracks between Paul's fingers, it was very cute.

Today I read Dr. Seuss to Noah, and he rewarded my efforts with smiles. Unfortunately his smiles are short-lived, so I wasn't able to capture them with a camera. I did manage to capture a clip of him settling in his vibrating chair though. As evident in the video clip, Noah enjoys 'talking' to himself, and we are very entertained by it.
