Our trip to San Diego to pay respect to Paul's Dad

Noah now talks in full sentences at 18 months. Paul loves that Noah greets him with 'Good morning Daddy' first thing in the morning, and 'Nite nite Daddy' before going down for the night. I, on the other hand, am amused whenever Noah sneezes, because he will follow that up with 'blesse Noah, blesse Mommy, blesse Daddy'.

We recently went down to San Diego for 1.5 weeks to pay respect to Paul's Dad. It was a time to spend with family and friends. We value every opportunity to connect with everyone, especially for Noah.
Noah enjoyed having dinner with Grandma at Grandpa's favourite Mexican restaurant.

Strangely, Noah likes to eat lemon. Apparently not uncommon in toddlers.

Making faces for the camera.

Noah had some great times at Uncle John and Aunt Debbie's house. Here he has 'persuaded' Aunts Karen and Debbie to be tunnels for his truck.

Playing with magnets with Michaela and Aunt Debbie.

Going to the Wild Animal Park with Aunt Debbie, cousin Michael and his girlfriend.

Noah getting his handprint done in the park. When his right hand was being painted, Noah kept saying 'the other hand'

Admiring his own handiwork

Noah puzzling over the water spray in the Wild Animal Park

Spending a morning at the beach with mommy and daddy.

Noah loves exploring the outside, picking up stones, sticks, leaves, etc.

Picking up rocks for daddy.

Running towards the next adventure.

Playing in Bart's play gym in the Backer's backyard.

Trying his hand at the tricycle for the first time

Now it's daddy's turn on the tricycle.

Playing the piano with baby Allie.

Really enjoy the sing song.

Lounging with baby Allie at the Backer's.

Noah had the best time at Legoland.

There was a fantastic playground for toddlers, including multiple slides

Also little maze for Noah to explore

Noah took the little train with daddy, got to sit in his own seat.

Taking a break to enjoy yummy pasta for lunch.

It's fun to head-tap with daddy while eating lunch.

Note that Noah now can drink with a straw.

Rocking out with the Legoland music.

The amazing miniature world in Legoland.

Noah loves firetruck, being able to be inside a lego version is a treat.

In front of mini New York.

Noah being a cool dude in his sunglasses.

Little Noah is still smaller than Bob the builder and Wendy.

Noah got to play in the duplo center.

Noah running into the duplo center, couldn't wait to get his hands on the blocks.

There were tubs and tubs of blocks to play with.

This is so neat!

Thomas the train, this one is at least 100 times bigger than the one at home.

Hello, R2D2, nice to meet you.

Having lunch with Uncle John, Aunt Karen, and of course mommy and daddy.

Seeing hippo at the San Diego Zoo.

This turtle is big enough for Noah to ride on.

Noah and daddy posing as bugs, mommy kept her distance.

The goat in the petting zoo were so passive, despite Noah's less-than-gentle touch.

Experiencing the shark cage in Birch aquarium.

Beautiful view of the ocean from La Jolla.

Noah got to touch a starfish, another first!

Hi daddy, this place is fun!

This lobster looks so real...

Nice to see Wyley and Casey again at the Sharp's.

Wonderful last night dinner with Tammy, Colin and their lovely children.

Noah and Wyley saying goodbye to each other.
